The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) offers a pathway to permanent residency for qualified individuals both inside and outside of Canada. To be eligible, you must:
– Have a full-time, year-round job offer from an eligible Yukon employer.
– Meet the specific criteria for your chosen application stream.
Yukon Business Nominee Program
If you are applying through the Yukon Business Nominee Program, you must meet the program’s specific eligibility requirements to qualify.
You cannot apply if you are:
1. A refugee claimant.
2. Inadmissible to Canada under immigration law.
Yukon Nominee Program Streams
The YNP includes several immigration streams, based on job type and skill level:
– Critical Impact Worker Stream (for entry-level and semi-skilled positions)
– Skilled Worker Stream (for professional, managerial, and technical roles)
– Express Entry Stream (for candidates in the federal Express Entry system)
– Yukon Community Program (includes Critical Impact Worker and Skilled Worker streams, with a focus on rural communities)
Your eligibility and stream are determined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code of your job offer.
