The CRS Score
Once you apply for Express Entry, and are eligible, your application will be ranked using a points-based system. For all Express Entry applications, the government of Canada assesses applicants and ranks them based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool for all skilled immigrants. The CRS is a points-based system that the government uses to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool. It’s used to assess your skills, education, language ability, work experience, demographics, and other factors. The federal government then identifies the highest ranked candidates and issues Invitations to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
